Japanese Rat Snakes for sale

We currently have baby Japanese Rat Snakes for sale that are captive bred. Snakes at Sunset feeds them frozen thawed pinkies. The Japanese Rat Snakes for sale are aprox 12-16" in length.

All our reptiles come with a Live Arrival Guarantee.

Shipping your new reptile:

We ship FED EX overnight. Most packages arrive by 10:30am. If you live in a smaller town, or in a rural area it may arrive between 12-4pm.

We also offer HOLD FOR PICKUP at your closest FedEx center, so you can pick the package up after work/school.
Our shipping days are Monday- Thursday. Reptile orders placed before 2pm usually get shipped the same day .
Reptile orders placed after 2pm, get shipped the following day.
Ex: If you place your order at 5pm Monday, we will ship tuesday, and you will receive Wed. Morning.
You may request an alternate shipping day. Please email us at albinoturtles@comcast.net to let us know what day works for you.

SOMEONE MUST BE PRESENT TO SIGN FOR THE PACKAGE or our Live arrival guarantee is VOID.

We pack your reptiles in the safest, most efficient way possible. All reptile orders are shipped in a styro-foam lined cardboard box used specifically for shipping reptiles. Depending on weather conditions, we may include an ice pack or heat pack at no charge for the safety of the animals.
If weather conditions are too severe to ship, we will notify you and arrange a future shipping date. This is all done for the safety of the animal!

Very Pleased

He's a very handsome snake, shiny and healthy,very active. Ate a mouse his first day and has been exploring his tank. He's a bit skittish yet, but didn't nip or musk. Overall, a great snake and a great experience.

Great Snake!

Haruka came in the mail a few hours early, and was understandably stressed at being shipped from Florida to upstate New York overnight. He tried to nip me as I put him in his new 10-gallon enclosure, but since then, he's adjusted really well; no biting, no musking! I didn't expect him to be so tiny; about as thin as a shoelace, and 13 inches long. He's eaten twice in the week and a half since I've had him. He loves exploring and is super chill and handleable, just a bit shy and cautious. He'll make a great outreach education snake in the future!

Overall Pleasant Experience

So I saw a Japanese Rat snake at my local Petco and really liked it, but I couldn't purchase him on that day, but when I came back at few days later he was sold..well in those few days I had done a bunch of research and had my heart set on getting one, in comes Snakes At Sunset! I Googled where to purchase one and SAS came up and I promptly ordered..once shippe, my snake arrived well packaged and on time, and my snake is perfect. He hasn't tried to bite me, hasn't musked or anything and is easily handled and is very happy and active in his tank! My only complaint is I did ask to include the last time he was fed so I knew but didn't find any note attached with my snake, but that's okay because Pip-Boy promptly demolished two pinkies two days after he came home. The price on my snake was great too, so overall I'm very happy and would definitely reccomend SAS to a friend!

Alive and Active

This is the most docile rat snake I have. She hasn't struck or tried to squirm away like other snakes I've bought. Great handeling. I asked for them to include the last time they fed her and they wrote it down twice. Packaging was good she was under newspaper and pretty comfortable looking. Great store! Love buying their snakes.
