I bought this little girl a couple days ago, and even when she came out of the box she was lively and engaged. She had a normal fear reaction, but zero aggression and crawled into my palm. An hour after her arrival I offered her a pinky and she ate immediately!! She is beautiful and so healthy looking, I am so happy I chose this shop and I would recommend it to anyone getting a Hognose. This was the perfect online snake buying experience.

Right out of the box he was super energetic, he came with a cool pack because of the current temperatures where I live, and it was still cool when I unboxed him. He also had to be sent to the nearest Fedex shipping center, but it was super easy to retrieve him from there, and way safer for the snake where I live. The Snakes at Sunset team contacted me about this and another delay, super professional. The snake was very handleable straight away, not head shy at all and almost no bluff strikes. On his travel container was his last meal and what he was eating (Frozen pinkies for anyone who wants to know what to expect) He's really calm compared to the stories of Hognoses I've heard! He ate within a couple hours of arriving home and settled in wonderfully with no problems. I'm not sure about other negative reviews online, but I'd order again in a heartbeat.

Perfect example for a anaconda phase hognose, solid black belly and white walls on sides. Mine also appears to have a twinspot pattern which is nice. Came super alert out of the package. They made sure to take account where I live and the extreme heat so they do care about their animals. She also ate her first meal yesterday right away. However I dont like how small she is (like almost half the width of my pinkie), the fact that they come eating live instead of f/t (granted she ate for me), and mainly my snake is extremely people shy. She is terrified of people, musk on you as soon as she is picked up. The fact that she is sooo not used to human interaction makes me kind of salty. Overall good site, might buy from again.

I recently purchased an anaconda phase female in july. She came next day, packaged very neatly with a cool pack due to being the middle of summer. she was calm and inquisitive from the moment I opened her container. within a week shes eating thawed pinkies but she is still a little shy.

I purchased Billy(Western Hognose) in mid-March and decided to wait until his first shed to write a review. First of all, the snake arrived properly packaged and with the heat packs securely positioned. After 4 days of receiving him, I offered him a small pinky which he happily ate. After this, he has been eating consistently twice a week and has been a curious, tame, and active snake. Last week, he had a perfect shed. I would definitely recommend this site for anyone who is looking to buy captive-bred snakes. Next year, I am looking to buy a baby Suriname red-tail boa from this site and hoping for the same quality and service that I received with this snake.
