Shipping Your New California King Snake for sale (Lampropeltis getula) - Desert Abberant:

We ship our California King Snake for sale (Lampropeltis getula) - Desert Abberants via FedEx Priority Overnight directly to your door whenever it is safe to do so. If weather conditions, transit conditions, or temperatures make home delivery less safe for the animal, we may recommend or require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center. This allows your animal to be picked up promptly in a climate-controlled facility rather than remaining on a delivery vehicle.

Our shipping days are Monday through Wednesday. Reptile orders placed before 2:00 PM (EST) are often shipped the same day; however, shipping may be delayed due to weather, order volume, or other circumstances. We will contact you before shipping to confirm the shipping date and the safest delivery method for your animal.
You may also request an alternate shipping day. Simply send us a message through your account with any special shipping requests.

Nighttime low temperatures below 50°F or daytime high temperatures above 85°F may require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center to help ensure the safety of your animal during transit.

We pack your reptiles in the safest and most efficient way possible. All reptile orders are shipped in federally approved, insulated Styrofoam-lined cardboard shipping boxes designed specifically for transporting live reptiles. Depending on weather conditions, we may include a heat pack or cold pack at no additional charge to help ensure the animal's safety during transit.

    healthy but skittish

    I received my beautiful California king snake in the mail after ordering him 3 days prior. He’s been healthy and doing well since I got him. The only thing I would say is that my snake is very very skittish and afraid of tongs so I’ve been having to feed him live mice.

    Beautiful Baby Girl

    I placed an order for a female California King Snake and some fuzzies. They contacted me right away and corrected me on what she was eating. I thought that was amazing! They could have just sent what I originally ordered and not cared. But they really do care about these animals. She arrived alive, well packed, and healthy! She's is a beautiful girl!
