We ship our California King Snake for sale (Lampropeltis getula) - Desert Bandeds via FedEx Priority Overnight directly to your door whenever it is safe to do so. If weather conditions, transit conditions, or temperatures make home delivery less safe for the animal, we may recommend or require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center. This allows your animal to be picked up promptly in a climate-controlled facility rather than remaining on a delivery vehicle.

Our shipping days are Monday through Wednesday. Reptile orders placed before 2:00 PM (EST) are often shipped the same day; however, shipping may be delayed due to weather, order volume, or other circumstances. We will contact you before shipping to confirm the shipping date and the safest delivery method for your animal.
You may also request an alternate shipping day. Simply send us a message through your account with any special shipping requests.

Nighttime low temperatures below 50°F or daytime high temperatures above 85°F may require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center to help ensure the safety of your animal during transit.

We pack your reptiles in the safest and most efficient way possible. All reptile orders are shipped in federally approved, insulated Styrofoam-lined cardboard shipping boxes designed specifically for transporting live reptiles. Depending on weather conditions, we may include a heat pack or cold pack at no additional charge to help ensure the animal's safety during transit.

    I love how the snake showed up in good health, I seen the cloaca was popped and I’m not to experienced but I assume he’s a male and nothing was damaged, he seems in good health and is a good looking snake, i plan to continue purchasing different snakes from you guys specifically because I had a good experience.     California kingsnake

    This is my second snake I got from Snakes at Sunset and I have nothing but good things to say. They shipped her on a later day because I live in PA and its cold out. I respect it to the fullest. They truly care about theyre animals. My Cali king arrived safe and sound and in good health. Shes beautiful! Really enjoying her. I will be getting all my reptiles from here on out.     Awesome snake, great for us beginners

    She arrived promptly after we ordered, and arrived at a local USPS center. She was very friendly and curious, and now a year has gone by and she's bigger and very acclimated to people. No issues! Great pet.
