All of our Western Hognose Snakes for sale are captive-bred. They are feeding well on a veterinarian-approved diet of appropriately sized frozen-thawed rodents.

All of our reptiles come with a Live Arrival Guarantee.

Shipping Your New Hognose Snake:

We ship our Hognose Snakes via FedEx Priority Overnight directly to your door whenever it is safe to do so. If weather conditions, transit conditions, or temperatures make home delivery less safe for the animal, we may recommend or require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center. This allows your animal to be picked up promptly in a climate-controlled facility rather than remaining on a delivery vehicle.

Our shipping days are Monday through Wednesday. Reptile orders placed before 2:00 PM (EST) are often shipped the same day; however, shipping may be delayed due to weather, order volume, or other circumstances. We will contact you before shipping to confirm the shipping date and the safest delivery method for your animal.
You may also request an alternate shipping day. Simply send us a message through your account with any special shipping requests.

Nighttime low temperatures below 50°F or daytime high temperatures above 85°F may require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center to help ensure the safety of your animal during transit.

SOMEONE MUST BE PRESENT TO SIGN FOR THE PACKAGE OR OUR LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE IS VOID.

We pack your reptiles in the safest and most efficient way possible. All reptile orders are shipped in federally approved, insulated Styrofoam-lined cardboard shipping boxes designed specifically for transporting live reptiles. Depending on weather conditions, we may include a heat pack or cold pack at no additional charge to help ensure the animal's safety during transit.

    Perfect!

    A+ animal

    This was my first purchase from Sunset and it went flawless!!! Got my little guy next day as promised and super healthy. So much so he has eaten a few days later. He was crawling all over his enclosure looking for food and he ate like a champ. I will definitely be shopping here again A+++

    Great Little Snake

    Very happy with my Hoggie. The snake was packaged with great care and arrived according to schedule and in perfect condition. After being allowed to acclimate in peace overnight in his new home I offered him a f/t pinkie the next day and he took it without a problem. I couldn’t be happier. He is adorable, handleable, sassy and curious of his new enclosure. Thank you Snakes at Sunset for my new baby, I’ll be sure to recommend you and you guys will be my first choice to buy from if I decide to do so again in the future.

    If you are hesitant about ordering online....DON'T BE! My little one got here yesterday, like scheduled, safe and sound. Ziggy just ate her first F/T pinky. SO FREAKIN HAPPY!

    Western Hognose baby

    The baby boy arrived well protected, healthy and happy. How do I know he was healthy and happy? He downed a pinkie for breakfast the next morning. He is beautiful, even if he is a boy and my granddaughter was completely surprised and thrilled. Text communication was expedient and customer service was great. You guys rock and you made grandpa a hero. Thank you so much!
