We ship our Australian Frilled Dragons for sale (Chlamydosaurus kingii)s via FedEx Priority Overnight directly to your door whenever it is safe to do so. If weather conditions, transit conditions, or temperatures make home delivery less safe for the animal, we may recommend or require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center. This allows your animal to be picked up promptly in a climate-controlled facility rather than remaining on a delivery vehicle.

Our shipping days are Monday through Wednesday. Reptile orders placed before 2:00 PM (EST) are often shipped the same day; however, shipping may be delayed due to weather, order volume, or other circumstances. We will contact you before shipping to confirm the shipping date and the safest delivery method for your animal.
You may also request an alternate shipping day. Simply send us a message through your account with any special shipping requests.

Nighttime low temperatures below 50°F or daytime high temperatures above 85°F may require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center to help ensure the safety of your animal during transit.

We pack your reptiles in the safest and most efficient way possible. All reptile orders are shipped in federally approved, insulated Styrofoam-lined cardboard shipping boxes designed specifically for transporting live reptiles. Depending on weather conditions, we may include a heat pack or cold pack at no additional charge to help ensure the animal's safety during transit.

    Excellent

    We received our Frilled Neck Dragon. S/he arrive very healthy looking, was very docile which tells me that he has been handled. He ate 4 crickets and 2 dubia nymphs on day one. Took a fecal sample to the vet the very next day, and just got the results back. No parasites. This is the 2nd lizard I have purchased from Snakes at Sunset, and both lizards arrived healthy and without parasites. I am very pleased, and will be buying my Toad Headed Agamas, if they ever get them in stock from Snakes at Sunset.

    Cutest dragon ever!

    Arrived on time and healthy. Doing well and ate after warming up same day as arrival. Very happy with my purchase from snakes at sunset as usual. They have great communication. Highly recommend getting one from them.

    Frilled dragon showed up healthy to my knowledge.But the customer service really sucks.I will not purchase anything else from this company.I texted them about information about my order someone text me back like 2 hours later.I reached out about my order and concerns about my order.and then never heard back from them again.Not a Company I’ll choose to never do business with them again. SAS- there are ZERO messages from you regarding anything - we just looked again, and nothing.

    Overall happy with this lil frilly already eating so well and is acclimating very well to his new home. Sunset Never fails me.. Keep it up !

    THE FRILL DRAGON

    Everything went great, I was a little worried in the beginning, but it all turned out safe and sound, the frill is very shy and jumpy, which I understand after begin shipped from Florida to Texas, it likes to eat when nobody is around, so I let it be, but in conclusion I would recommend anybody to order here @snakesarsunset if interested in such a iconic lizard.

    Blown Away

    My largest problem with ordering any live animal through the internet would be that they either arrive, Refusing to eat or are horrified of people. The baby Frilled Dragon I ordered? Ate the next day and is regularly eating. He drinks water perfectly and is the friendliest reptile I have ever owned! They are a great exotic, beginner reptile and I would recommend getting them from None other than SNAKES AT SUNSET.

    BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!

    I was a little skeptical over some of the reviews on google and wanted to initially cancel my order. I am so glad that I did not cancel my order as the dragons came perfectly! They were packaged so well that two days (due to fedex issues)in transit and they arrived healthy and very much alive. I would highly recommend Snakes at Sunset and will be ordering again very soon!
