I picked up my baby California kingsnake from FedEx a few weeks ago (it's too cold here right now for home delivery and I appreciate that his wellbeing was a priority). My little snake is so beautiful, lively, and healthy. I didn't bother him for a day or two in order to acclimate, but once I handled him he was so well mannered too. I absolutely adore him. I swear he's grown already too, though I haven't weighed him yet. Thank you, Snakes at Sunset! My baby is worth every penny.

Han was safely delivered 2 days ago. It's been cold here in Chicago, so he was shipped to the nearest FedEx location that could hold live animals. He was sent with a heat pack in the box, and a nice woman at the FedEx facility kept him in a warm room just in case. I thought he would be cold and sluggish, but he was very active when I took him out. This is the first snake that I have ever owned. I bought him for my daughter specifically, but she is only 11, so obviously I am taking care of him too. He seemed perfectly healthy and quite beautiful. He looked just like the picture, if not better. I absolutely love his color; it's mostly black with these white stipes that almost look bright green. He even has a little heart shaped stripe on his head. Han seemed to adjust to his new habitat rather quickly. We actually ended up feeding him the first day because he seemed so active and hungry. He ate very well, no issues. My experience with the website and with the snake have been all positive. Hopefully the little guy will be happy and healthy for many years. I would definitely recommend purchasing from snakes at sunset. We were sent a little bit of care instructions, including when he last ate. If I could suggest any room for improvement, it would be great to get even more information such as specific tips for this breed of snake. But otherwise, no complaints at all.

I received a healthy snake via over night shipment. Packaging only said "Perishable", so FedEx did not know it contained a live animal. The color was not the black and white represented in the order form picture. I suggest clarifying this before ordering.
