We ship our California King Snake for sale (Lampropeltis getula) - Dark Eye Lavendar Bandeds via FedEx Priority Overnight directly to your door whenever it is safe to do so. If weather conditions, transit conditions, or temperatures make home delivery less safe for the animal, we may recommend or require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center. This allows your animal to be picked up promptly in a climate-controlled facility rather than remaining on a delivery vehicle.

Our shipping days are Monday through Wednesday. Reptile orders placed before 2:00 PM (EST) are often shipped the same day; however, shipping may be delayed due to weather, order volume, or other circumstances. We will contact you before shipping to confirm the shipping date and the safest delivery method for your animal.
You may also request an alternate shipping day. Simply send us a message through your account with any special shipping requests.

Nighttime low temperatures below 50°F or daytime high temperatures above 85°F may require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center to help ensure the safety of your animal during transit.

We pack your reptiles in the safest and most efficient way possible. All reptile orders are shipped in federally approved, insulated Styrofoam-lined cardboard shipping boxes designed specifically for transporting live reptiles. Depending on weather conditions, we may include a heat pack or cold pack at no additional charge to help ensure the animal's safety during transit.

    Snake

    This is not the first snake I purchased through Snakes at Sunset. First, this newest addition arrived healthy and vigorous and is quite nice looking. He/she was quite active and seemed hungry. The snake fed right away. I also want to say, they put the health and safety of the snake first. That is very important. For example, if it is too cold to ship, they will not risk it. They will communicate and explain the situation as they did with my snake. When it is safe, they will ship and make certain that everything is lined up to have the animal arrive safe. Any snake I ever received from them was always very healthy. This is a go to source for me!

    Very pleased!

    Got my girl a little over 2 months ago, and I love her to death. She arrived healthy and was instantly accepting food and exploring her environment. 2 months later, she's still very curious, happy, and healthy with a huge appetite. All her sheds thus far have been very smooth and easy for her. Though she is pretty antisocial and mostly prefers to be left alone, she's a beautiful and amazing reptile. Thank you snakes at sunset!

    We love him already!

    Our dark-eyed lavender banded California kingsnake arrived a few days ago and he has already been adjusting well! He seems healthy, alert and very curious. His temperament is so sweet and gentle, I just love him so much already! He also has a smiley face on his head. :) The package was overnighted when it was expected to be, and it arrived to me in SoCal the next day a little before 11am. He arrived safe and sound and very well packaged with his last feed date written on the container. We even got an extra surprise because he decided to shed in transit so we got to see what his shed looks like.. which was nice, healthy, and all in one cute curly piece. The company is very friendly and answered my questions within a few hours about his gender and age. Thank you!! I know you must be busy, so it's appreciated!
