All of our Pastel Anaconda Western Hognose Snakes for sale are captive-bred. They are feeding well on a veterinarian-approved diet of appropriately sized frozen-thawed rodents.

All of our reptiles come with a Live Arrival Guarantee.

Shipping Your New Hognose Snake:

We ship our Hognose Snakes via FedEx Priority Overnight directly to your door whenever it is safe to do so. If weather conditions, transit conditions, or temperatures make home delivery less safe for the animal, we may recommend or require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center. This allows your animal to be picked up promptly in a climate-controlled facility rather than remaining on a delivery vehicle.

Our shipping days are Monday through Wednesday. Reptile orders placed before 2:00 PM (EST) are often shipped the same day; however, shipping may be delayed due to weather, order volume, or other circumstances. We will contact you before shipping to confirm the shipping date and the safest delivery method for your animal.
You may also request an alternate shipping day. Simply send us a message through your account with any special shipping requests.

Nighttime low temperatures below 50°F or daytime high temperatures above 85°F may require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center to help ensure the safety of your animal during transit.

We pack your reptiles in the safest and most efficient way possible. All reptile orders are shipped in federally approved, insulated Styrofoam-lined cardboard shipping boxes designed specifically for transporting live reptiles. Depending on weather conditions, we may include a heat pack or cold pack at no additional charge to help ensure the animal's safety during transit.

    Pastel Anaconda western hognose snake

    My hognose came in heathy and good weight. His first feeding he ate very willingly which with hognose can sometimes be an issue. I am excited to watch him grow into a beautiful adult snake.

    A Homerun...

    This wasn't my 1st purchase from SAS. As I've purchased from them before, I knew I'd be getting excellent customer service and another quality family member...I wasn't wrong. When my hoggy arrived, he hissed at me immediately. Within seconds however he calmed and allowed me to relocate him to his new home. I waited a few days to feed him, to which he ate like a champ. I've since had a few sittings with him, he's pretty chill and extremely inquisitive. I'm now in the market for a tiger hoggy and will probably wait until SAS gets them back in stock cuz there's no need to shop elsewhere...

    Blind Snake

    I was sent a snake who is very noticeably blind- his eyes could not be milkier looking. I’m not at all happy with this place. I thought maybe his eye caps were stuck from a bad shed but that’s not the case. I will never buy from this place again. SAS - YOUR SNAKE IS going through a shed cycle, its not blind.

    Amazing little snake!

    I got my hognose today 5-14, everything about the experience was amazing! This is my first snake and a dream pet for me and everything went so smooth. Straight away my little girl Piglet, was active and exploring and was interested and within the first 5 mins found her water bowl so far I am so happy and will be getting my next future breeder from here! 10/10 highly recommend

    Awesome snake

    My baby hognose arrived this morning. Set him up in his tank. He is super friendly and very active. He even ate for me (which surprised me) within an hour of being in his enclosure.

    The snake was active and looks healthy I seen the last day they fed him so the 2nd day of owning him I went ahead and tried a pinky and he latched on I will definitely be looking to get another one in the near future

    My Hoggy

    I love my new lil Hognose. He is so friendly and loves to stick his lil head out and back in his hideout and still waiting to get him to eat.

    Cute lil baby hognose

    Came in very healthy was able to hold him and I read the reviews but I now trust them with my snakes life. Plan on getting a female Hognose down the road but not for breeding just to have one of each. I highly recommend them and they was shipped very well and arrived earlier then the time shown.
