If weather conditions, transit conditions, or temperatures make home delivery less safe for the animal, we may recommend or require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center. This allows your animal to be picked up promptly in a climate-controlled facility rather than remaining on a delivery vehicle.

Our shipping days are Monday through Wednesday. Reptile orders placed before 2:00 PM (EST) are often shipped the same day; however, shipping may be delayed due to weather, order volume, or other circumstances. We will contact you before shipping to confirm the shipping date and the safest delivery method for your animal.
You may also request an alternate shipping day. Simply send us a message through your account with any special shipping requests.

Nighttime low temperatures below 50°F or daytime high temperatures above 85°F may require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center to help ensure the safety of your animal during transit.

All reptile orders are shipped in federally approved, insulated Styrofoam-lined cardboard shipping boxes designed specifically for transporting live reptiles.     Great little girl!

    I've had my Peruvian BCC for about 2 weeks now. She is really sweet and we've gotten her switched over to frozen thawed. She was confident and very good being handled when she got here. Great snake, and a excellent purchase!

    Peruvian Red Tailed Boa Constrictor

    Boa arrived early Thurs afternoon. The heat pack in the box was still warm and the boa was warm. After 2 days in his new cage he ate 3 small mice and settled down in a hide box at the warmer end of the terrarium. The color markings were as expected and he is a very healthy snake. Wouldn't hesitate ordering again from Sunset. I was a little hesitant about ordering a tropical animal in winter but all worked out well.

    Very Happy

    Our baby boa arrived a couple days ago, the packing was great and he looks amazing. No signs of anything wrong with him what-so-ever. I have never seen a snake settle in as quickly and as well as he has. He's extremely friendly and ate a mouse with no problems today. Couldn't be happier with what we got. I was a little hesitant at first because I had never ordered an animal online before, however my experience couldn't have been better. I will definitely be looking back here when ready to get another snake.
