Western Hognose Snakes (Heterodon nasicus)

We have some gorgeous Western Hognose Snakes for sale that are captive bred. Snakes at Sunset feeds them appropriately sized mice. The Western Hognose Snakes for sale are babies-juveniles,and aprox 6-10" in length. 

All our reptiles come with a Live Arrival Guarantee. 

Shipping your new Western Hognose :

We ship FED EX overnight. Most packages arrive by 10:30am. If you live in a smaller town, or in a rural area it may arrive between 12-4pm.

We also offer HOLD FOR PICKUP at your closest FedEx center, so you can pick the package up after work/school.
Our shipping days are Monday- Thursday. Reptile orders placed before 2pm usually get shipped the same day .
 Reptile orders placed after 2pm, get shipped the following day.
Ex: If you place your order at 5pm Monday, we will ship tuesday, and you will receive Wed. Morning.
You may request an alternate shipping day. Please email us at albinoturtles@comcast.net to let us know what day works for you.

SOMEONE MUST BE PRESENT TO SIGN FOR THE PACKAGE or our Live arrival guarantee is VOID.

We pack your reptiles in the safest, most efficient way possible. All reptile orders are shipped in a styro-foam lined cardboard box used specifically for shipping reptiles.  Depending on weather conditions, we may include an ice pack or heat pack at no charge for the safety of the animals.
If weather conditions are too severe to ship, we will notify you and arrange a future shipping date. This is all done for the safety of the animal! 

The health and safety of the animal comes first!

    The baby hognose came in perfect condition as well as the box. Ileould definitely buy from snakes at sunset again.

    decent condition

    She arrived earlier than expexted! When I opened the package to get her out she was packed pretty well. Only reason they got 4 stars is because she was skinny. But she ate the first day in my care, would consider ordering another from here!

    amazing snake and amazinf service

    At first my little hognose was pretty wild, but given the fact he came from Miami all the way to Ohio in under 24 hours it was to be expected. After giving him a day to adjust I handled him the next night. He was a bit squirmy trying to adjust on me but not once did he show any sign of aggression, just curiousity. He's very quick and energetic and needs some more handling but his personality is amazing and you could tell he was well taken care of before coming my way. I also emailed to see what he was fed and when I should offer him food and customer service didn't even take a minute to contact me back! They emailed me faster then my husband texts me, I was blown away! The gentlemen answered all of my questions without even making me wait. Amazing snake, amazing service, I will be back and all of my friends will be aware of this! I love my hognose!

    My hognose arrived before delivery time his tracking number said, which was great! Transaction was super easy and he came super wild but he was under a lot of stress from being shipped I'm sure! After letting him relax in his pre-warmed tank he mellowed out and relaxed in my palm. He's just a baby so I wasn't an expecting an already very tame snake, and I was very hesitant about ordering a live animal through the mail but I am not disappointed! Only issue I have is that the description doesn't specify whether they eat live or frozen, and I only give my snakes frozen. So if he's live fed it'll be such a hassle to switch him to more humane feeding. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase.

    He arrived very healthy and active, he seemed like he was handled well consider how well he took to being held. He ate great and has great color to him. The shipping was right on time. Customer service was pretty good, they answered my questions and were polite, id definitely buy from them again
