All of our Everglades Rat Snakes for sale are captive-bred. They are feeding well on a veterinarian-approved diet of appropriately sized frozen-thawed rodents.

All of our reptiles come with a Live Arrival Guarantee.

Shipping Your New Everglades Rat Snake:

We ship our Everglades Rat Snakes via FedEx Priority Overnight directly to your door whenever it is safe to do so. If weather conditions, transit conditions, or temperatures make home delivery less safe for the animal, we may recommend or require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center. This allows your animal to be picked up promptly in a climate-controlled facility rather than remaining on a delivery vehicle.

Our shipping days are Monday through Wednesday. Reptile orders placed before 2:00 PM (EST) are often shipped the same day; however, shipping may be delayed due to weather, order volume, or other circumstances. We will contact you before shipping to confirm the shipping date and the safest delivery method for your animal.
You may also request an alternate shipping day. Simply send us a message through your account with any special shipping requests.

Nighttime low temperatures below 50°F or daytime high temperatures above 85°F may require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center to help ensure the safety of your animal during transit.

We pack your reptiles in the safest and most efficient way possible. All reptile orders are shipped in federally approved, insulated Styrofoam-lined cardboard shipping boxes designed specifically for transporting live reptiles. Depending on weather conditions, we may include a heat pack or cold pack at no additional charge to help ensure the animal's safety during transit.

    Amazing snake!!

    We recently purchased our new buddy "Ever" Steve for my 7 year old son and this snake not only is gorgeous but friendly as can be. The first day upon getting him acclimated he climbed into the sleeve of my sons sweatshirt and slept for 2 hours!! He is so amazing and has already enjoyed his first meal with us and ate like a champ!! We weren't sure how many pinkies he would eat in 1 sitting but we fed him 2 and if he is still hungry in a day or so I'll get him atleast 1 more. I hope his coloration becomes more vibrant but he is the best snake we have ever purchased! The overnight wait felt like a lifetime but we already love Ever Steve!! He is an extension of our family and we want to thank Snakes At Sunset 184747283837 times over!! Couldn't ask for a better snake or business to purchase from!! He is slightly larger than I expected him to be but he is really amazing!! If you're thinking of purchasing anything from here DO IT NOW!!

    fast shipping, fast emails, and beautiful baby!

    After having a crummy time with another online store I won’t name, I was weary about ordering from another store. They were super nice and helping me track and care for my package, once my snake came in! He was beautiful and so so tiny!
