All of our Het Lavender Western Hognose Snakes for sale are captive-bred. They are feeding well on a veterinarian-approved diet of appropriately sized frozen-thawed rodents.

All of our reptiles come with a Live Arrival Guarantee.

Shipping Your New Hognose Snake:

We ship our Hognose Snakes via FedEx Priority Overnight directly to your door whenever it is safe to do so. If weather conditions, transit conditions, or temperatures make home delivery less safe for the animal, we may recommend or require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center. This allows your animal to be picked up promptly in a climate-controlled facility rather than remaining on a delivery vehicle.

Our shipping days are Monday through Wednesday. Reptile orders placed before 2:00 PM (EST) are often shipped the same day; however, shipping may be delayed due to weather, order volume, or other circumstances. We will contact you before shipping to confirm the shipping date and the safest delivery method for your animal.
You may also request an alternate shipping day. Simply send us a message through your account with any special shipping requests.

Nighttime low temperatures below 50°F or daytime high temperatures above 85°F may require Hold for Pickup service at your nearest FedEx Ship Center to help ensure the safety of your animal during transit.

We pack your reptiles in the safest and most efficient way possible. All reptile orders are shipped in federally approved, insulated Styrofoam-lined cardboard shipping boxes designed specifically for transporting live reptiles. Depending on weather conditions, we may include a heat pack or cold pack at no additional charge to help ensure the animal's safety during transit.

    Het Lavender hognose

    Received our hognose and he is everything we could ask for and more. My daughter was so excited to get him. Would highly recommend and plan to purchase more reptiles in the near future.

    Sellers were great, FedEx customer service sucks

    I had a great experience with Snakes at Sunset. Shortly after submitting my purchase, I changed my mind on which morph I had wanted. The staff at Snakes at Sunset were super kind and made the switch with ease. I made the purchase on a Tuesday and the staff reached out that evening to arrange shipment. Shipping was initiated two days later due to local Temps in my area being below 30 degrees. My issues were with FedEx. My shipment was sent to FedEx on a Thursday and there was a shipment delay for unknown reason. The snake was scheduled to arrive Friday by noon. Once it reached noon, I reached out to FedEx to inquire about the delay and wanted an updated expected arrival date. There's only one customer service line for FedEx and it a robot... tip: say "file a complaint" or "customer feedback" if you want to speak to a human instead of a robot. I spoke with at least 3 different reps, the first two couldn't even tell me if my shipment will still be delivered same day. Friday evening, I received a tracking update that the delivery wouldn't be until Monday. There was no true option to hold my package at a local facility near me. For "holds", it has to be at a true ship center, not just a FedEx office or a third party like Walgreens. Despite the stressful delivery with FedEx, my snake was delivered Saturday morning by 10 am. He was cold of course, due to FedEx delay. But he appeared alive and well. His pattern is absolutely beautiful. After some warming up, he was super active. I looked him over and he looks healthy. I would definitely use Snakes at Sunset again in the future but have learned my lesson and will only arrange shipping Monday-Wednesday.

    Cute Hognose Snake

    I picked my hognose snake up today from the FedEx ship point. She came with all the pertinent info (kind of snake, what she's eating, when last fed, etc.). She is in very good condition (as far as I can tell) and doesn't seem excessively skittish as she's exploring her new enclosure. Very cute little girl and very happy with my purchase!
