Arrived about a month ago. The animal seems totally healthy, has been active and eating well with no sign of defects or parasites. The snake was packed well with a convenient sticker showing the date of its most recent meal and was willing to eat the same day it was delivered. It's got a decent expression of the pied gene, more than I expected for the price. If you're reading the reviews wondering if this is a good purchase, I'd say go for it.

Was little worried that she wouldn’t have a lot of piedside expression. But she has a lot more then what other sellers sell. Would buy from again.

I purchased a blood red corn snake for my 2 sons. I ordered it on a Saturday I believe forgetting that Monday was Memorial day. I asked for him to be shipped on Wednesday since I was off work that day and it was delivered as requested! Since Covid I have had some bad luck with shipping so I was worried since Fed Ex at some time that night hit a snag but he still came in beautiful condition. We stuck with feeding him a live pinky and after purchasing him a shoe box sized container and drilling holes in it he ate with in 2 minutes. I would order again from this company, you guys shipped fast and we were so excited to see such a healthy little guy. Oh and also wasn't sure if he shed prior to shipping or shed while in shipment but we have a snake skin already that my boys were excited to see!

First I have to commend Snakes and Sunset as a business. I ordered my snake almost a week in advance and requested it to be delivered on either of two specific dates, a Thursday and Friday in this case, when I'd be off from work. The snake was delivered before 10am the first of those two days and was very well packaged. I also appreciated that the container the snake was in within the package had a clear label which included the date he was last fed and that he had been fed a live pinky specifically. That was valuable information. The snake acclimated readily to its current quarantine tank (I have other herps and so all new additions are kept in quarantine for a minimum of 60 days before being moved into the main room as a standard safety measure, it also lets me get a feel for the individual's disposition). He was fairly calm when being initially inspected (not defensive or overly flighty, no ectoparasites, by all appearances a perfectly healthy young corn). The corn snake easily converted to frozen thawed. The first time I fed him, he was reluctant, but after I decided to put him in a smaller container (the cup he was mailed in as it turns out, sans aspen) he began eating within 2 minutes. The second time I fed him, no special tricks were needed, he ate the frozen/thawed pinky as though he had been eating them for years. He's been perfectly behaved ever since. In short, the snake appears to be in excellent health and has adjusted well. He was fed live prior to me getting him but converted easily to frozen/thawed. He was clearly well taken care of at Snakes at Sunset and the people there were clearly careful to ensure that the animal was delivered safely and on time, and made sure the buyer had any pertinent information about the individual animal being delivered. I would (and plan to) buy from these guys again when I am ready to get more animals.

Our snake came on time and he was healthy! He's very docile and had his first shed as soon as he got into the terrarium! Love him so much and so happy to take care of the little guy!

I've had my snake for a while now. He arrived fine. His tail seemed pinched when he arrived but otherwise he was fine. It hasn't affected him. He's had his second shed with me already and he's fed every time except for the first time I tried to feed him.

Received her Tuesday. She was well packaged and healthy. She so so tiny and adorable. I’m so happy. :)

Really pleased with snakes at sunset, they made sure i would be able to pick up my snake due to the colder weather where im living, really appreciate that and glad they truly care for their snakes. Great prices and my blood red corn snake is healthy and doing great, just had her first shed.
